Hearing Update On Tuesday, April 24, 2012, there were 62 audio/visual black outs of the live feed from the courtroom to the press pool. 62 black outs of approx. 5-seconds long, in exactly 3-hours. When listening to rapid fire legalese, the layman's ear is overwhelmed. Losing context is deadly in reporting. We were treated to uninterupted broadcast during the last hour. because of the black outs, journalists were almost completely dependent on the military briefing at day's end.
